Oil Containment Booms
Extended Skirt Containment Booms
Oil spill containment booms are floating barriers designed to contain and control a spill in calm water, moving water, or open water areas. While the standard boom design used for these barriers includes a top flotation device, bottom chain, and short bottom skirt (6" to 12"), booms featured here will include the same standard components but with an extended skirt. These booms are typically used in fast or moving water areas to help control and contain materials. For open water locations, skirt depths may include lengths of 24", 27" or longer.
