Resources for the International Erosion Control Association
IECA Technology Sections are comprised of members who have expertise in certain areas of erosion and sediment control. It is the aim of the Technology Sections to enhance the quality of educational offerings and to assist members in finding answers to their erosion and sediment control problems. Included with this listing are committee members and alternates.
Areas of focus in this IECA section include the following:
- Erosion and Sediment Control: Includes topics around BMP's, SWPPP management and other erosion control issues that may occur when dealing with soil, wind, or rain erosion.
- Stormwater Management: Includes members with information regarding ideal stormwater management and practices, as well as various ways to monitor water quality and water pollution.
- MS4 Management (Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System): Includes information on these permits and strategies that can be used to limit the amount of industrial or stormwater pollution.
- Surface Water Restoration: This includes information on how to restore and enhance waters including rivers, lakes, oceans and more.

The resource and educational information on the IECA website is wonderful.See IECA on the web.
In addition to the Slope Technology, Stream Restoration, Vegetative Establishment, Stormwater Management, Wetland technology, Erosion and Sediment Control as well as Beach and Shoreline Stabilization there are fantastic links and educational tools for pollution professionals.
