Geosynthetics, Geotextiles, and Soil Stabilization

Geogrid, price quoteGeogrids are engineered meshes that are typically made up of a regular pattern of fairly rigid types of plastic. These nets or meshes are used to strengthen fill materials in geotechnical applications. They are designed specifically to reinforce, and permit heavy construction on sites with weak soils, eliminating most other foundation and/or soil stabilization work. The use of geo-nets and geogrids provide increased shear strength between soil strata interfaces. Their tensile strength can prevent or decrease the degree of differential settlement in some applications by transmitting the load over a broader area of soil, thereby diminishing the vertical stress - and subsequent compression - in the soil.

Geocomposites are specifically designed for improved drainage and superior protection. The geonet channels fluids and has high flow characteristics in both machine directions while the geotextile separates to keep soils and waste out. This allows gas venting and are a great replacement to granular leachate collection systems. The use of these systems is dependent on final project or site requirements and our technical staff will be happy to direct you to the most appropriate solution. At GEI Works, we offer a wide range of GEOSYNTHETICS to suit your project needs. Call us anytime at +1-772-646-0597 or to discuss your requirements.
