A customer who bought a portable trash incinerator with oil away attachment wanted to know
Why, used in this combination, this small scale incinerator could only loaded 1/3 to 1/2 full?
The recommendation to load 1/3 to 1/2 full is for
burning waste oil only.
If the trash incinerator actually has to destroy material the oil away attachment is used to supplement the process, the portable trash incinerator can be loaded normal.
Another question was
How to get rid of ashes once the material was incinerated?
The ashes are
sterile after burning. They can be
disposed of in a landfill or other suitable waste management systems. We have emission data for the portable trash incinerator available as well as the EPA information showing the unit is exempt for use in burning non-hazardous waste.
This does include waste oil as well as polypropylene and polyethylene plastics.
Burning polyvinyl-chloride (PVC) type plastic, Styrofoam and rubber as well as any hazardous paint and other material
has to be avoided to maintain the exemption.
