Turbidity Curtain & Boom Colors

Question: What color options are there for boom and silt barriers? I see that you have options like yellow, but I need a dark, less less intrusive color for an environmental area.

The standard color for boom and silt curtain is high visibility yellow; however, there are several other boom colors* available.

GEI Works' debris boom and turbidity curtains are manufactured using 8 oz nonwoven geotextile (black) fabric, or more commonly 13 oz, 18 oz, or 22 oz PVC fabrics. The weight of the fabric needed is determined by the water conditions surrounding your project. Not all boom colors are available for all fabric weights. Please contact us for specific information about available color options for your project.

Yellow
Yellow is the default color quoted for boom or silt curtain projects, unless you specify otherwise. Yellow is widely used because of it's high visibility in even the roughest water conditions. All products are quoted in yellow, unless otherwise indicated.

OrangeOrion oange color containment boom

If you're interested in using orange fabric for your boom or silt curtain, please let your GEI Works customer service representative know (products are quoted in yellow, unless otherwise indicated).

If you're interested in using green fabric for your boom or curtain, please let your GEI Works specialist know (products are quoted in yellow, unless otherwise indicated).

Please take into consideration boater safety, and local regulations regarding visual demarcation of waterway obstructions. If you're interested in using blue fabric, please let your GEI Works specialist know (products are quoted in yellow, unless otherwise indicated).

Black
