This debris & plant trash net boom is designed for mild water conditions such as moderate currents, waves, or wind flow. They are typically used in areas with maximum conditions of:

  • Current: 1 knot
  • Waves: 2 feet
  • Wind: 30 mph

This ergonomic design of these booms is custom manufactured to suit the size of the trash and floating plants at your site. This ensures effective water column coverage for the litter and trash and account for water flows and minimizes the affect of entrainment.

These floating net systems are have often been used with ocean pollution to control floating jelly fish from impacting intakes and generating capabilities for power plants and cooling intakes. These Jelly fish migrations often shut down plants during major blooms.
