Turbidity Control System

Turbidity Barriers for Pilings

turbidity control systemThis Turbidity Control System is part of our turbidity curtain variety designed to control silt and sediment specifically around your piling. Rather than forming an extended barrier around your entire location, these piling protectors attach directly to or around an existing piling. As the piling is extracted from the water, these barriers work to contain displaced materials to ensure minimal impact to the surrounding habitat.

How is the Piling Sock Cover Used?

The piling sock cover is attached to the top of the pile, laid on top of the protection system, and then unfurls to cover the extracted exposed section of the pile as it comes out of the water. The end is tied off before transporting it to the barge across the water.
