Chemical Storage Tank Underground Models
Steel Underground Storage Tanks for Chemicals
These chemical storage tank underground models are designed to last in an underground environment. Each model meets or exceeds the U.S. EPA's regulations for the underground storage of petroleum and chemicals. Furthermore, they are all constructed, tested, and labeled in accordance with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. standards:
- UL-58: Standard for Safety Steel Underground Tanks for Flammable and Combustible Liquids
- UL-1746: External Corrosion Protections Systems for Steel Underground Tanks
- Capacities from 240-50,000 gal
- Steel Thickness from 10 gauge to 1 1/4"
- Single or Double Wall
- Stainless or Carbon Steel
- Horizontal or Cylindrical
- Exterior Full Fillet Lap Joints to add "ribbed" strength
- Striker Plates to protect the internal surface
- Seam Inspection
- 5 psi Factory Air Test
The strong solvent/tar-free dielectric coating of high solids polyurethane allows for the safe storage of all motor and biofuels.
It meets or surpasses all of the current UL Standards and comes with an STI standard 10-year limited warranty.
The STI-P3 hass the most successful underground tank technology ever developed and has a maximum 120 degrees F temperature use rating. It is designed with a pre-engineered corrosion protection system that is established in three ways.
- 100% solids polyurethane dielectric coating
- factory installed cathodic protection system using sacrificial anodes
- electrical isolation
The STI-P3 comes with a standard 10 year warranty.
Highland High RES:
The Highland Tank High RES set the standards by which all other residential fuel tanks are measured. This top-of-the-line residential heating fuel tank features a polyurethane coating to protect against corrosion and is available with 305 or 360 degree containment.
It features Highland's patented "fusion bond" technology to create a leak and damage-proof outer thermoplastic tank.
The Titan assures 100% secondary containment, motor/biofuel compatibility, reduced installation cost, and a 10-year limited warranty.
The HotShot is designed specifically for the safe storage of heavy residual fuel oils like No. 6 fuel oil used for steam boilers and power generators. It allows the oil to easily flow for maximum burning efficiency.
The surface is protected against corrosion, has a high temperature resistive exterior coating, and a cathodic protection system.
