Greetings! Thanks for contacting Granite Environmental! We would be happy to assist you. Our Dewatering-Bag and Sediment Filter Bags are ideal for pumping sediment laden water into where it is filtered and the water passes through the non-woven geotextile, which retains the sediment and oil too!
Specification for a dewatering bag, 6 x 6 are as follows:
- Material Options: 8 oz. Nonwoven, 10 oz. Nonwoven
- Discharge Hoses: Up to 4"
- Capacity: 1.44 cubic yards per bag
All sediment dewatering and filter bag is fabricated using heavy duty needle punched filter fabric (non-woven geotextile) which provides high permittivity (water flow) and a fine pore structure that allows water to flow through freely, while preventing fine soils from piping through. Other options are woven Monofilament (polypro or PE), which are ideal for high flow, rugged, high tensile applications.
In addition to this bag, we also offer several other standard sizes include:
- 15 ft x 10 ft
- 15 ft x 15 ft
- 15 ft x 20 ft
- 15 ft x 25 ft
These bags may be placed directly on the ground, in porous surfaces, and in various other dump trucks to help filter, transport and store materials.
