A sediment filter from Ultra-Tech is an effective BMP for filtering out harmful materials such as hydrocarbons, oil, heavy metals and more from stormwater runoff.
This hydro kleen BMP is designed to be installed directly into a drain, allowing water to be filtered out as it flows into the drain. In order to provide you with the most effective cleaning possible, this filtering system is manufactured with different filters designed to target the exact pollutant you need removed.
To provide a quick check of filters after a major storm event, the added sampling option places a tall sample tube in the middle of the filtering system. When you need to gather a sample, simply remove the drain grate and place the sample collecting pole into the tube.
