Remote Alaska
by Linda
(McCarthy, Alaska)
We currently have a 30 room hotel facility, a bar and a restaurant to service out patrons. Would this device help us? We now haul about 7 cubic yards of waste to the landfil each week which is located 187 miles away from our site.
Thank you for asking, Linda. Our portable trash incinerator burns an average of 50 lbs/hr and has been tested using EPA testing formats. The Federal EPA publication (Federal Register 40 CDFR part 60) exempts cyclonic barrel burner from state emission plans. Our small scale trash incinerator burns oil soaked absorbent material, used filter, waste oil, paper waste, wood by-products, oily rags, gloves, clothes, grease domestic waste, and much more. Ash equal to 3% by volume of the original load when combustion is complete. We also have an accessory for waste oil disposal and general incineration available. This attachment can be used for wet loads, typically not burnable in the trash incinerator.
