, located on the East Coast of Florida, offers
36 and 42 inch oil boom
for spill responders, beginning July 2nd, 2010.
The
36" and 42" oil containment boom for open water and ocean
is manufactured to the following specification:
• 36" oil boom: With a height of 36 inch, freeboard of 12 inch, draft of 24 inch, ballast chain of 3/8 inch galv. (optional 1/2" galv) and equipped with stable closed cell foam log floats, handles and anchor points. Top tension cable is optional (stainless steel top cable upon request)
• 42" oil boom: With a height of 42 inch, freeboard of 15 inch, draft of 27 inch, ballast chain of 3/8 inch galv. (optional 1/2" galv) and equipped with stable closed cell foam log floats, handles and anchor points. Top tension cable is optional (stainless steel top cable upon request)
Built of fully welded PVC material, this oil containment boom is equipped with a universeal connector (optional ASTM) or available connector type.
Our GEI oil boom meets OPA-90 requirements for all open water applications.
