Following NPDES Regulations Just
Got “Ultra” Easy
What’s the big deal? Stormwater that discharges from municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4s), industrial activities, and construction activities carry harmful pollutants into our rivers, streams, lakes, and coastal waters. In order to protect these waters, the NPDES was established, requiring Best Management Practices (BMPs) to be put in place as preventative measures.
The powerhouse that is Ultra Tech and Granite Environmental now offers a diverse selection of BMPs for your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) to keep you in compliance with NPDES. The stormwater BMPs include drain guards, inlet guards, catch basin inserts, drain covers, filters, and oil absorbents.
Mark Wilkie, President of Granite Environmental, commented: “We are pleased to be providing our clients a comprehensive solution base that helps them stay in compliance not only in the United States but also apply these techniques and BMP’s to their projects as they do work in other countries. Granite Environmental will continue its growth collaborating and building a strong supply chain to meet the demands of this marketplace and addition of the Ultra tech line will allow us to further support our customer projects no matter where the work takes them.”
