Floating Turbidity Barrier Usable For Oil Spill?

by Cary
(Jacksonville, Florida, USA)

I am looking for 26,000 feet of floating turbidity barrier with 18 inch skirt and 4,000 feet of floating turbidity barrier with 36 inch skirt for oil spill containment. Please provide lead time and pricing.

Thanks for asking. Turbidity barriers or silt curtains are not manufactured for oil spill containment. The foam in the float isn't made for contact with oil.

The proper water pollution product for the oil spill catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico would be an oil boom. We have 18 inch and 36 inch oil containment booms available. Please call our Granite Environmental sales team at (772) 646-0597 to receive current oil boom pricing.
