Erosion Prevention
by: Staff - GE

Thank you for asking. There is no general answer. Our experience is that Americans are concerned about how to prevent erosion. In the 21st century scientists and professionals see education as the key for erosion prevention. There are a lot of best management practices for residents, businesses and industry available.

According to Wikipedia: "Erosion - A certain amount of erosion is natural and, in fact, healthy for the ecosystem. For example, gravels continuously move downstream in watercourses. Excessive erosion, however, does cause problems, such as receiving water sedimentation, ecosystem damage and outright loss of soil."

Erosion shows how nature and mankind interact. Our actions do not work isolated from each other. To see the bigger picture is the key for erosion prevention.
