Oil Absorbing Floating Passive Skimmer

The passive skimmer is a low maintenance option for removing oil and hydrocarbons from sitting water. Constructed with a robust absorbent, passive skimmers are designed to float on the surface of the water absorbing oil and pollutants. Quick to install and easy to use, these skimmers are a great option for any construction site or work location.

Design of the passive skimmer features two floats and an interior absorbent. Each absorbent features a polymer material that forces oil to bond with the skimmer. Standard models are able to absorb and hold up to two (2) gallons of oil.
