Floatable boom debris sizes vary depending on the site conditions and also the type of water pollution (aquatic plants, plastic bags, Styrofoam, etc) being experienced.
Debris booms are suitable for use in controlling most lake pollution, but can normally not be used for river pollution control due to the hydraulic loading on the barriers. We recommend discussing your site specific debris sizes and requirements with a technical representative.

Accessories commonly purchased with this product include anchors, buoys, and lights that help to secure the debris barrier and make it more visible during use. Barriers are also OPA 90 Compliant and can help ensure clean water compliance.
The floating debris boom is a favorite for lakes and has been used to collect anything from small timbers to floating debris. The best way to implement these barriers to place them at the entrance or along the shore of your water area. This way they allow items to naturally wash up along the shores for easy collection and cleaning. Several different debris sizes are available.
