Coir Erosion Control Mat

Coconut Coir Fiber Mats

erosion control coir mat

Coir Erosion Control Mats are a robust and biodegradeable option for any site dealing with erosion control on hills, banks, slopes or shorelines. Made from a natural, biodegradeable coconut coir fiber, these mats work to increase soil support so vegetation is able to take root. This provides a natural support area that will increase stabilization without harming the surrounding environment.

When compared to other erosion control mats, coir matting is typically considered one of the strongest available options. Mats have been successfully used on steep slope areas, shores and other areas looking to add in a layer of erosion control.
