Thanks for contacting Granite Environmental. I'd be happy to provide you with this information. Our coir erosion control mats are made from 100% natural coconut fiber product and is biodegradable. These mats support growth and development of vegetation by providing higher resistance.

The Erosion Control Mat 70 is a semi-permanent solution that lasts 4-6 years. It is manufactured from machine-spun bristle coir twines as a woven mat. The 9.84 ft and 13.1 ft wide coir blankets have a seam. They support growth and development of vegetation and are strong, durable, and biodegradable. Reseeding is possible through open weave before and after installation. It has openings of 0.4" x 0.5" in the blanket and has a weight of 780 g/m2.

Available in four roll sizes: 1. 3.28 ft x 83 ft = 30 sq/roll, 2. 6.56 ft x 166 ft = 120 sy/roll, 3. 9.84 ft x 166 ft = 180 sy/roll, 4. 13.1 ft x 83 ft = 120 sy/roll.
