Question on an incinerator to burn electronic media. Can on of your units burn this? Specifically, can your incinerator burn hard drives, CD's, USB sticks or other electronic media?
I would like to have a mobile incinerator solution for disposal of electronic media. Please advise.

Thanks for contacting Granite Environmental. We have small scale portable trash incinerator models available that can burn all types of electronic media. As the material is being incinerated it will most likely release chlorine gas. The burner units and scrubber will be required to ensure air quality standards are met.
Consideration should be given to how the system will be loaded and operated (number of hours per day/week).This will help size the units burn chamber and also effect the cost. Many people are using our small scale portable incinerator units for rare metals recovery in this fashion too.
Trash Incinerator Configurations
The portable trash incinerator unit is typically designed for the disposal of different trash materials including paper, wood, cardboard, debris and various plastics. Its construction includes an electrical component (connects to specific outlets), blowers, and a 55 gallon drum.
To operate, wood and paper materials will be loaded into the drum portion of the incinerator. After a flame has been started, your CD's and electrical equipment can be added to start the incineration process.
In order to help us ensure that this incinerator can be used for your location, please let us know exactly what type of materials are being used and how much you need to incinerate. The portable units are designed for smaller incineration applications and are not typically used to incinerate large amounts of materials.
