AST Methods for Absorbents
Question; Absorbent for oil spills. Have they been tested by the ASTM (American Standard Method )?

Our absorbent roll wipes up spills quickly. Absorbing 25 times it weight in oil it makes spill cleanup a cinch. They are available is 18" x 144' long and 36" x 144' long in either the oil only or universal. Other sizes and style are available upon request (minimum order quantity may apply).
This absorbent has been tested to ASTM Methods as follows:
- Mass/Unit Area: ASTM D-5261
- Thickness: ASTM D-5199
- Tensile Strength: ASTM D-4632
- Elongation: ASTM D-4632
- Puncture: ASTM D-4833
The oil absorbent roll has been used in several different locations to help cleanup materials and spills. These wipes have been frequently used to stay in compliance with 29 CFR and OSHA requirements.
When compared to other absorbent materials, the oil spill wipes are easy to use and can actually be torn off in sections for spot-specific cleanup. This helps areas to quickly absorb both large and small spills.
Wipes have also been laid out flat along walkways and transportation paths to absorb materials as they are being moved.
