Aluminum Angle Spill Berm Set Up
How to Set Up the Aluminum Angle Spill Berm
Below you will find information regarding the standard set up and installation of the Aluminum Angle Spill Berm. For areas with unique set up requirements or for additional information regarding the berms, please feel free to contact us by phone at +1-772-646-0597 .
Step 1: Once the berm has arrived to your location, lay the berm out flat with the side walls folded in. At this point the berm should be pulled out to its actual storage size.
Step 2: Place the 90 degree aluminum angles along the walls of the berm. Each berm wall will feature welded pockets that are designed to accept top portions of the aluminum angle bracket.
Step 3: Slide the berm angles into the pockets so that the top portion is in the pocket and the exposed portion is beneath the berm.
Step 4: Repeat this process until all the aluminum angles have been successfully placed in the pockets located along the berm.
Step 5: Once all of the angles are in place, the berm is ready to accept placement of storage vessels, tanks or equipment. If you are placing moving equipment into the berm, such as vehicles or machinery, angles can be removed from one side of the berm to allow equipment to drive into the berm. Once the item is in place, angles can be replaced into the entrance wall to reform the containment area.
