Coir coconut wattles are perfect for effective sediment control during erosion control and construction projects. These BioD-Watl™ coir coconut wattles are recommended as an economical Business Management Practice BMP if heavy duty construction equipment is used on the erosion control project.
The 6" Style comes in lengths of 15 feet, a weight of .65 lbs/lf, and a density of 3.5 lb/cu.ft. It is filled with mattress coir fiber and netted with brown bristle coir twine (2" x 2"). The overall net strength is 80 lbs.
Erosion Control Wattles and Filtering
Coir wattles are an excellent choice for areas requiring filtering or stormwater runoff control. Due to their construction and makeup, the coir wattle is able to retain sediment, sand, dirt, and debris while still allowing water to continue to filter through the product.
